Best Nail Polish Colors for Spring (Swatches Included)

With tomorrow being the first day of spring, I thought it would only be appropriate to share my favorite spring nail polish colors with you today so you’d be ready to greet spring with some pretty nails. As much as I like to follow the policy of ” I wear whatever nail color I feel like wearing”, I do notice myself gravitating towards certain colors during different seasons. For the spring, I do like to wear more pastel inspired colors (as do most people) and most nail polish companies’ spring collections reflect this as well. KL Polish is coming out with their spring colors in the next few weeks as well and I’m excited to see what Kathleen Lights came up with for that collection. If you’re not familiar with KL Polish, you can read a review I wrote about that brand here.

For my favorites, I chose 4 different colors that I tend to wear the most during the spring. I will provide the names and links to where to get them, although most of these are available at your local Ulta, Walgreens or other drug stores that sell these brands.

Essie – Mint Candy Apple

I feel like this one can almost be labeled as a cult favorite for the spring as it is probably the most popular mint nail polish shade out there. There is a good reason this is a favorite as the color is absolutely beautiful and flattering to any skin color.

Sally Hansen – Rosy Outlook

I feel like the Sally Hansen nail polishes don’t get the credit that they deserve because their formulas are so long lasting and the finish always looks so great. This is a great pink for spring as it’s right in the middle of pastel and bright and looks so nice on both the hands and the feet. There is also a Trust Fund Beauty shade that looks just like this one called I’m Kind of a Big Deal that you can find here.

OPI – Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around

This one is the newest in my nail polish collection and I have to give out a shout out to my friend Sonia who has been telling me to buy this color for ages now. I finally listened and can already tell this will be my new go-to nude shade. There is a slight hint of pink that is so flattering and looks so great on your nails. It elongates your hands with the nude effect and is definitely one to pick up.

Trust Fund Beauty – Elegantly Wasted

This one is probably my favorite of the four just because I love the color lavender and this nail polish formula is super long lasting and is so easy to apply. This one is harder to get your hands on as most drug stores and Ulta don’t sell this brand but I still highly recommend picking this one up.

So that wraps it up for my favorite spring nail polishes. Let me know if you like these kinds of posts and I will make sure to do my summer nail polish favorites as well later on. As always, thank you for reading!
