I am personally not a huge fan of looking through sale and clearance racks at places like Forever 21 and H&M due to the sheer volume of items on those racks which typically leads to disorganization. When that many items are hung on a rack, it’s hard to truly see what is on it and pulling out each item is just not going to happen. With all that being said,  I have scored some amazing deals and have found some major gems on H&M’s sale rack so if I see one that is lighter on the amount of items hanging on it, I will make my way to it and see if there’s anything that will catch my eye.

This past weekend, I happened to be in the suburbs of Chicago and ventured over to Northbrook Court. I made my way inside H&M to check out some of their embroidered blouses (one of which made it onto my Instagram yesterday) and stumbled upon their sales rack. The dress I’m wearing in this post caught my eye instantly and it was love at first sight. I love polka dots, I love red and I love sundresses and this just happened to meet all the listed criteria. I’m sure you can find this dress at your local H&M still, however, it is no longer available online. Some similar options I’ve found are this sundress option and this more fall appropriate dress from Lulu’s that fit the red, polka dot and dress description.

I decided to wear this dress for date night and paired it up with some white sandals (a lot of walking was involved that night, comfort was at the top of the priority list) and grabbed a denim jacket to throw over the dress since I get cold at restaurants even on 90 degree summer days.
