Bright hues tend to take a step back during the fall and winter and get replaced by muted deeper tones. I find it almost necessary to throw in a pop of color into my day to day fall looks to throw off the sea of olive and oxblood that’s all around. Not to say that I don’t love olive and oxblood myself, but those two very much dominate fall fashion.

Electric blue is my favorite shade of blue. If it wasn’t so difficult to work with flower wise, I probably would have had it as my wedding color. I own countless sweaters and dresses in this shade and don’t see myself stopping the blue obsession any time soon. Speaking of obsessions, those that know me well, also know that houndstooth is another weakness of mine. If you want my opinion on patterns – houndstooth, leopard and polka dots is where it’s at.

Now let’s talk about this gorgeous blazer that I was sent from SheIn. This blazer has a peplum shape and bell sleeves which takes it from the office to a girl’s night within seconds. Pair it up over a black and white polka dot button up and black cigarette pants for work and then throw on a fun patterned blouse and a skirt and voila, you’re ready to go out.
