OOTD: Off Shoulder Sweater

I really thought by now I would be over the off shoulder trend but I was wrong. I still find myself being drawn to anything in that style, whether it’s sweaters, dresses, tunics, etc. Most brands have transitioned the style into fall and winter and there are so many ways to wear these looks.

The way I choose to pair my off shoulder tunic sweater was with mesh insert leggings from Express since the sweater itself is fairly long. The color is bold enough that it draws all the attention but I wanted some other details which is why I chose the mesh insert leggings instead of plain black ones. Leather leggings would also be great for this look. I also chose to pair this look up with this absolutely gorgeous embroidered clutch from Lulu’s that makes me think of Morocco and other places by the Mediterranean sea. I chose to put a polka dot bow in my hair to draw some of the hair away from my face and draw attention to the neckline of the sweater.

While my sweater is no longer being sold ( I bought it from Venus) there are numerous other places selling similar items. Some of my favorites that I found are this red one from Alloy, this embellished one from Venus (a great deal right now, under $20!) and this beige one from Lulu’s that is the most similar to mine (but unfortunately, you have to get on the waiting list for it).

    1. It’s definitely not ideal for winter but if you layer up on top, I think it’s a feasible trend. Thanks for reading! 🙂
