Sephora VIB Rouge Haul

Ah, the Sephora VIB Sale. The event, beauty lovers wait for twice a year to stock up on their favorite products and try new ones. Personally, sometime around September, I already start mentally putting things “in my basket” that I need to get during the sale so I’m prepared as soon as the discount starts on the first day. This year, I stocked up on some OG products and purchased some new sets to try as well. This post will be broken up into two sections: what I got and what I recommend getting. The second section will mainly mention products I love that are sold at Sephora. So let’s dive in…

What I Bought

Diorshow Maximizer 3D – I use this literally every single day before applying mascara. It is a primer that also improves the look and feel of your lashes with continuous use. It makes your lashes look longer and fuller and is one of those products I have to re-purchase as soon as I run out or in this case, stock up on before I even have the chance.

Anastasia Beverly Hill Clear Brow Gel – Also a product I use every day. I either fill in my brows with powder or a brow pencil and set everything with this brow gel. It makes sure that everything stays put and lasts all day. A great product to have.

Laneige Hydrating Trial Kit – I am a die hard fan of the lip sleeping mask and the water sleeping mask by this company so when I saw this kit, I knew it was something I had to have. The water sleeping mask is part of the kit ( I ran out of mine a few months back) as well as a toner, moisturizing foam cleanser, and a cream and water based moisturizers. For $28, this kit is a steal.

Dr.Jart Skin Potions – Another kit that had my name written all over it. I am a huge fan of Dr.Jart products and since they are all pretty pricey, I usually like to try them out first in trial size. Luckily, Sephora Play and other subscription boxes also share my love for the brand and frequently send out their products. This kit (valued at $96 but retailing for $52) includes a BB cream, a hydro gel moisturizer, a serum, a micellar water and a color correcting mask.

What I Recommend

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner – My holy grail eyeliner and the least trouble you’ll ever have getting that perfect winged liner. It’s a bit pricey which is why now during this sale is the perfect time to snag it.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara – This has been my favorite mascara for years now as nothing seems to be good enough to replace it. If you want long and full vavavoom lashes, pick this one up.

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo – A truly effective dry shampoo that will leave your locks looking refreshed and voluminous. I like to spray mine in before bed and let it sink in overnight for the best effect.

Lancome Teint Idole Foundation Stick – I can’t say I’ve tried that many foundation sticks in the past, but this one is definitely the best that I’ve tried. The color selection is great, it’s super easy to blend in and makes your skin look flawless all day.

Alterna Overnight Hair Rescue – This does wonders for dry ends overnight. I apply this before bed and in the morning, wake up with hair that looks like it is just post haircut. I’m not sure what’s in this but it’s magic.

Boscia Deep Hydrating Overnight Sleeping Mask – Another brand that I am obsessed with. This sleeping mask will have you waking up with plump, hydrated skin and the packaging is a gorgeous pink. Can you tell I’m into products that work overnight?

I also snagged the Kate SomerVille Wrinkle Warrior as a point perk because society and magazines tell me that it’s time to focus on anti-aging products. Never too early to start, I guess.

Let me know what you guys picked up from the sale and what I should snag while the sale is still going on! As always, thank you for reading!

    1. Thanks for reading! It looks like you picked up some good stuff as well! That Huda palette you wrote about looks gorgeous! And yes, that mask is literally amazing and I’ve had it for months and with almost daily use, have barely made a dent in it!
