You know a blogger is into a trend if they do more than one post dedicated to it. Pearls have always been a favorite of mine when it came to jewelry so when they started making their way onto clothes, I was instantly on board. I already talked about pearls in my Taking on the Trend post but today, I am styling a piece that’s a bit different. Last time, we had a blush sweater. Today we have a long black cardigan with lots of contrast of pearls sewn onto the sleeves.
I don’t know about you guys, but I love long cardigans. They are ultra comfy, always make me warm and are super stylish. The only issue with long cardigans is when they’re too long, they tend to stick out of your outerwear and that, I’m not a fan of. This is an easy problem to solve though so I don’t dwell too much on that.
In today’s outfit, I styled this pearl cardigan from Shein along with a black and white leopard print top, black leggings and oxblood booties for a comfy yet chic look. This cardigan is so long that I think leggings and dresses are pretty much the only option for bottoms – jeans or pants wouldn’t look great unless they were ultra skinny black jeans. Ultra skinny white jeans might be an option as well but I would recommend just sticking to leggings.
This is also my last post before leaving for my honeymoon for 2 weeks so a heads up – there won’t be any blog posts until February 25th. I will be posting on Instagram so make sure you’re following me @styleprn as I’ll have daily posts and stories going up.
As always, thank you for reading and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram, Pinterest and like my Facebook page!
