If I had to pick one item that I wear the most in the summer, I would choose my pair of distressed white skinnies from Express. Sure, I wear sundresses almost every day but we are talking about one singular item that gets a lot of wear. Why do I love white jeans in the summer? Many reasons, really. You can literally pair them with anything, they will make any bright top pop and they make your legs look so good with a pair of nude wedges or sandals on a nice tan. Is that enough reasons for you? No? Okay , let’s talk about it some more.

A good pair of jeans is a staple in any closet. A good pair of white jeans is a staple in a summer closet. Traveling this summer? Make sure to bring a pair of white jeans with you. The nice thing about white jeans is that they can’t be see through since the material should technically be thick enough to not have anything show through but the fit itself still has to be right.The problem is, a good pair of white jeans can be really difficult to find.

My jeans are from Express but that exact model is no longer available however you can find pretty much exactly the same ones at Express minus the distressing factor here or even more distressed, if you’re into that, here. These jeans hold up and will last you years. I mean, look at me with the pair I’ve had for about 3 years that shows absolutely no signs of wear and I wear these a lot.

Other than pairing white jeans with colorful tops, I also love the fact that white jeans can make any pattern stand out. My favorite patterns to pair in this case are florals and stripes.
