I always love a really versatile piece of clothing that can be used in numerous outfit combinations. When it comes to summer, nothing is more versatile than a white lace cami that can be worn with anything – shorts, jeans, skirts, you name it. I got this cami at Forever 21 at the beginning of this summer and knew right away that I would be wearing it frequently, and I have stayed true to that statement. Here are some ideas of how to pair the cami with other things that may already be in your closet.
Outfit Details: Cami (Forever 21), linen pants (Guess), wedges (Shoedazzle)
I absolutely love wearing linen in the summer. It lets your skin breathe and feels nice and light even though it is covering a lot more than clothes normally do in the summer. With a white top,the linen pants can be any color, but I chose to pair it with a taupe pair and some snake skin wedges. Perfect look for a summer night date featuring a cute patio or rooftop bar.
Outfit Details: Cami (Forever 21), chiffon maxi skirt (Forever 21), sandals (Express)
Another item of clothing that is essential for me in the summer. Not just any maxi skirt however, I prefer mine with a slit. I like my maxi skirts to have slits because I feel like it makes it “breathier” and gives you a chance to show off those nice, tan legs without having to wear something really short. In this ensemble, I paired my white cami with a beige chiffon maxi and some flat sandals.
Outfit Details: Cami (Forever 21), jeans (Express), wedges (Shoedazzle), blazer (Love Culture)
Jeans and a Blazer
This outfit makes for a great summer date night at the movies (because I’m assuming all girls get cold at the movies and this is where the blazer comes in). I prefer dark wash jeans in this case and a bright blazer for a pop of color. I paired this with the snakeskin wedges again and some gold jewelry. This can be a great daytime look as well.
Outfit Details: Cami (Forever 21), cargo pants (Express), wedges (Shoedazzle)
I absolutely love these cargo pants from Express and would recommend everyone to get a pair. They are very comfortable and for being cargo pants, actually look pretty cool and acceptable for going out. You can also wear them for running errands or other day-to-day activities. The grey color of these pants make them more wearable since I don’t think I would have bought them if they were beige or khaki (that would just bring me back to my hospital volunteer days).
