I’ve always found wrap dresses to be ultra-flattering so the their selection has been growing in my closet over the years. When I spotted this floral wrap dress on the SheIn website, I knew it would be perfect for summer events or a date night. The gorgeous floral print looks so fitting on the ivory background and the material is very “breatheable” – perfect for summer nights. I have never owned a midi dress or skirt in the past as I’ve always thought that they did not do my legs any favors but because of the slit in this dress, the “midi effect” is taken away. If you’re not into the bell sleeves on this dress, the exact same version is available with flutter sleeves instead.
I paired this dress up with the suede nude heels I talked about in my “What I Wore” post from NYC and in case you missed it, the shoes are still available from Call It Spring. These are probably my favorite heels right now – I love the tie up laces that go up my ankle and the peep-toe as well. I also paired the look up with gold jewelry and a gold Rebecca Minkoff clutch. I did all warm toned make up for the look and picked a lip shade that was similar to the flowers of the dress.
I do suggest wearing a slip under the dress since it is a bit on the sheer side and because it is a wrap dress, even a little wind can sometimes be an issue. I get a lot of questions about ordering from SheIn and how the sizing and quality are on the website. I have always ordered my standard size (a Small in most places) and haven’t had any issues with items running too small so I would say most things on the website run true to size. If you are concerned, always make sure to read the reviews because people always mention sizing which can help determine what to order. As far as the quality goes, I would compare it to Forever 21 and H&M quality which I’ve always thought was appropriate for the price.
