I pretty much label anything that has blue and white stripes as “nautical” but light blue especially fits that description. When I first saw this top on SheIn’s website, I knew I had to have it because when you see an item and can instantly style it 4-5 different ways in your head – you have a winner. This top is a wrap top that you can tie around and make it shorter or you can keep tying it down and cover a little more. No matter what you do, it’ll always be a crop top because there’s only so much material but if you pair it with something high waisted, the way I did, you won’t have to worry about showing any skin. This top is also available in red and black, but I prefer the blue for the summer.
My favorite way to style this top is with a white A-line mini skirt. This look can be dressed up with a pair of heels or can be dressed down with sandals or flats. I did pretty much picture myself pairing this up with all white bottoms as I think that light blue and white pattern looks especially flattering paired with white. Other ways to style this top would be with linen white pants and some beige wedges or white jeans with some light wedges as well or you can throw in a pair of pumps. This color combination would also look pretty with a light gray if you prefer that instead of white.
My yellow block heels are still available from ShoeDazzle if you’re a member and can be found here. These are my first pair of block heels and I have to say, the thicker heel does add some comfort. The white skirt is from Express but is from a couple seasons ago so you can find similar options from ASOS (on sale right now for under $15!) and a ruffle version at Bloomingdale’s (under $40).
My earrings are from Monkees of Madeira and are absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been wearing them almost every day since I’ve gotten them. If you’re interested in ordering them, give the store a call and the owner can ship them out to you!
*Thank you SheIn for sending me this gorgeous top!
