Although Cincinnati weather does not seem to be aware of the fact that it’s actually spring, spring fashion is currently in full bloom(ha!) and there’s a lot of great styles to note this year. Pastels are in as always, as are white blouses, florals (duh) and red. In today’s post, I’ll be tackling the whole white blouse trend and talking about how I style it.
White blouses will always be one of the easiest pieces of clothing to style since they can be worn with pretty much any other color. White is especially important during the spring as it pairs so nicely with pastels which have a huge spring presence. That being said, nothing to me will ever be as classic as the white blouse + jeans combo. I mean, even a white tee with jeans for me is an exciting look because it always looks great.
For today’s look – I paired this gorgeous top from SheIn with a pair of distressed Express jeans and taupe Shoedazzle booties. In order to not cover the gorgeous details and top of the blouse, I put my hair half up and added some dangly earrings. Also, did I mention that the top is only $12? Can’t beat the prices at SheIn.
I love the contrast of dark wash jeans with white blouses. When it comes to summer and eyelet type tops, I tend to stick to lighter jeans but with long sleeve blouses that are truly meant for the beginning of spring, dark wash tends to be the better choice.
Some other gorgeous white blouses from SheIn include:
This peplum version with lace panels. Also perfect for pairing with dark wash jeans!
This funky frilled shoulder option if you like to stand out.
This beautiful blouse for those looking for a work appropriate option!
This super on trend bow tie pearl embellished blouse.
Well, that’s all for today’s post. I hope you guys are as into the whole white blouse for spring theme as I am and I hope today’s post inspired some #outfitinspo. Let me know what your favorite spring trends are and what you’ve been loving recently!
