Happy Monday, friends! Starting the week bright and early with a style post. My weekend was actually full of shopping, selling (on Poshmark), as well as de-cluttering so the Spring Clean is in full swing at my apartment right now but taking place over several days. Anyone else looking to clean that closet out? I talked about how I tackle my closet in this post a few months back, and all the tips have been pretty relevant over the last few days.

Now, let’s talk about this outfit. The tie crop top specifically. The top can be found here and is super affordable and super cute. The top is perfect for pairing up with pretty much anything high waisted but, does have to stick in the athleisure category because the stripes on the sleeves give it a athletic feel. I decided to pair it up with black high waisted distressed skinnies and some Keds.

Crop tops can be a scary thing for some people but wearing them with high waisted pieces really makes them a lot less scary and opens up so many possibilities because crop tops are everywhere nowadays. The two styles I mentioned above are more flexible than the crop top in my outfit so those can be worn with skirts as well. A tie crop top with a maxi skirt would be a killer look for spring. Hmm… maybe I’ll have to recreate that myself.
