A few years ago, lace was all the rage. Full lace dresses, lace tops, lace, lace,lace – it was literally everywhere. Then, we saw the trend take a step back for a little while as other things overwhelmed the scene (off shoulder tops, anyone?). Now lace seems to have made a come back but in a different way. This time, it’s all about little lace details. No one is wearing those full lace tops or dresses anymore but camis with lace tops, tops with lace inserts, that’s what we’re seeing a lot of.

I have to admit, I am all on board with the lace cami trend. They look great layered under cardigans and blazers and even on their own. Now pieces with small lace details were yet to make it to my closet until I saw this piece from SheIn.

I do tend to stick with white or black lace so when I saw this white top with a lace bottom that gives a peak at your midriff without exposing too much, I was all for it. I paired it up with high waisted distressed skinnies and black block heels for a perfect summer going out look.

This top would also look great with a bodycon skirt as it does run a little loose and needs a tighter fit at the bottom. Some accessories on top would look great as well but you don’t want to do too much to take away from the lace details on the bottom.
