I’m back – in town, that is. As some of you may know, I spent the last 10 days in my home country of Kazakhstan visiting my family and attending the wedding of one of my best friends. It was a fun week (minus the part when I got the flu) but now I’m back and ready to get you guys some good content.
Starting the “Good content” off with an Amazon beauty haul. Months ago, I asked you guys on Instagram if you’d like me to do a review of Amazon beauty products that I use and got an overwhelming response. Since I use so many products from Amazon beauty, I thought I’d break it up and do a few at a time. I’ll be sharing items today and maybe next month I can share more and then some more…you get it. Let’s start a new series. I do want to add that just because it’s on the list, doesn’t make it a favorite. I regularly place orders from Amazon beauty so I will be sharing both hits and misses here.
The thing I love about Amazon’s beauty section is how versatile it is. You can find anything from mainstream brands to little brands that almost no one’s heard of and the quality range is huge. I think I’ve found some real gems on there so far and I hope I can get you guys your next favorite beauty item with these posts.
Skincare:
Gold & Snail Hydrogel Eye Patches – If you want to feel luxurious while hydrating your undereye area, I recommend checking these out. These gold hydrogel patches are very very hydrating and really pleasant to apply because of the cooling effect. These come in a jar of 60 patches, so 30 uses, and only cost $10. Totally worth it.
Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask – One of my favorite face masks, ever. This bubbles up on your face when you apply it and makes you look absolutely ridiculous (you might have seen images of similar masks online) but holy hell, no other mask makes my skin feel softer than this one. I absolutely love this mask and everything about it – the name, the application process and the effect.
Nip + Fab – Kale Fix Make Up Removing Pads – These are amazing eye make up removing wipes that are for whatever reason not sold in other places that carry Nip + Fab. These remove all your waterproof make up, your eyeshadow, everything. I have a two step process for removing my make up and this definitely sped up that process. Plus, it’s only $5.80 for 60 of these wipes. A steal for sure.
Rice Water Bright Cleansing Oil– I actually found myself using this a lot with my jade roller. It gave it a good slippery surface while also cleansing the skin. I can’t say I’m in love with cleansing oils just because I think they takes longer to wash off but I do think if you’re looking for one, this is a good one to check out. It moisturizes as well as cleanses, which is a nice bonus.
Make Up:
Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Mascara – I can’t say this one impressed me that much. I think there’s drugstore mascaras that are a lot better than this one, not to mention, this costs more than an average drugstore mascara. I thought this dried out quicker than most of my other mascaras as well. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
Docolor Liquid Eyeliner – Probably my least favorite product of all the ones mentioned today. This wasn’t very matte, it wasn’t very long wearing and wasn’t very easy to work with. I read someone’s reviews comparing it to the Stila eyeliner and um, no. Absolutely not even close in comparison. I’ll pass on this one.
That’s all I have for you guys today! Let me know if you’re Amazon beauty fans yourself and what I should pick up or you know, order, next time!
As always, thanks for reading!
