I’ve never actually been much of an Amazon shopper when it comes to clothes. Random beauty items, household pieces, books, and everything else you can imagine – sure, but not clothes. Then, I started seeing a ton of Amazon hauls on Instagram with some really cute stuff and thought I should get in on the action.
I decided to make my first haul be casual tops because there are so many great ones to choose from and I wanted to really figure out how to narrow my search to what is relevant to me and use that strategy for future hauls. I plan on making this a series, so look out for the next edition and another Amazon haul in the future.
I ordered five tops and will be sharing four with you today. One of the five got returned because it looked quite strange on but I figure an 80% success rate is pretty great so hopefully that kind of luck follows with my future hauls as well.
Now let’s get into this haul…
The first top I’ll be sharing is one of my favorite things I snagged in this haul. It is a cotton black sleeveless top that buttons all the way ( and yes, they are functional buttons) as well as ties at the bottom. It’s super light and perfect for the hot weather that will be upon us soon (and is kind of already here in Cincinnati) and can be paired with literally countless types of bottoms. I paired it with black flat mules and a nude backpack.
I definitely wish I found this one during the winter because it is so soft and comfortable and is the perfect henley top for layering underneath big cardigans. This is also a great transitional top for spring when there are still some chilly days. This top comes in numerous colors and can be paired up with leggings (it’s long enough to cover your tush) as well as jeans and other bottoms.
This one took by far the longest to get to me but was definitely worth the wait. This was probably my favorite top of the group. It’s so comfortable and is really great quality. I’ve worn this several times already since it came in the mail and have even worn it to work. If you only snag one of these tops, make it be this one.
Calling this one a casual top might be a bit of a stretch but I feel like the price point of this top makes it a little more casual. Although, you can definitely pass it off as pricey because it’s such a gorgeous color and such a cool design. The material isn’t quite as nice quality as the others but it definitely will last you for years and does great after several washes. The sleeves are the coolest part with the mesh inserts and you will definitely be getting lots of compliments in this one.
