Graphic tees are one of my favorite things to wear. Ever since I was a teenager, I was super drawn to tops with faces of people on them in abstract or just regular artistic fashion. It might have had something to do with the fact that my aunt would wear tops like that frequently and I looked up to her for all things fashion.
Now fast forward 10-15 years, graphic tees are still a part of my closet. I wouldn’t say I wear them as frequently as I used to, but I will say that I have changed up the way I wear them quite a bit. I used to just pair them up with jeans and I was good to go. While that’s still a great way to wear graphic tees, today, I’ll be sharing 3 other ways to style these tops.

With a Skirt
This is probably my favorite way to wear a graphic tee because it is a good way to make a casual top look, well, not so casual. I think white and black graphic tees work best for this look and I think colorful, flowy skirts are also the way to go. I paired the top up from this red skirt from Not UR Ordinary Fashion and threw on a light denim jacket. I finished the look off with some sparkly flats and a nude purse and voila – I am ready to go out on a daytime date or any daytime activity.
With Boyfriend Jeans
In this look, I paired up the graphic tee with a pair of boyfriend jeans, my favorite teal blazer and black heels for an edgy look that’s perfect for meeting up your friends for dinner and drinks. You could toss the heels and put on flats to turn this into a more daytime look but I personally am not into how boyfriend jeans look on me in flat shoes, so I’ll leave that look for other people.
With Distressed Black Jeans
Now to the comfy version of this look. I mention comfy because what’s more comfortable than jeans and a pair of Keds? In this look, I paired the top up with a pair of distressed black skinny jeans and my denim hooded jacket (that you’ve probably seen on my Instagram a million times already). This look is great for just casual days and if I could reverse the look and wear white distressed denim with a black graphic tee, I would.
