June Empties

The long holiday weekend (for those lucky enough to get it) is now over and time to go back to the usual routine. With old routines come Empties posts! I don’t have too many to share today but each one is definitely worth talking about. I’ve been working really hard to use up as many products as possible recently with our upcoming move but most of the products I have that are close to empty will be in the next month’s post so I have a feeling July’s Empties will be double the size of this one.

Let’s get started…

Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion Serum – This is one of my favorite serums of all time. This serum is super lightweight but adds an instant glow to your face and really does wonders for brightening. I used this in the morning after my eye cream and before my moisturizer and saw an improvement in my skin within about a week of consistent use.

Price: $57 (for 1.7 oz, the medium sized bottle)

Would I re-purchase? Already have.

Grande Cosmetics Mascara – I didn’t think I would end up owning a full size of this mascara again after getting it sent to me via Influenster but then it came in my Fab Fit Fun box so I guess it was fate that we met again. This mascara is supposed to lengthen your lashes over continuous use but I honestly used it so sporadically that I can’t say I saw a difference in the length of my lashes from this mascara. I do think it does a good job lengthening. I wouldn’t say it’s the best mascara for volume though so if that’s what you’re looking for, I would look elsewhere.

Price: $25

Would I re-purchase? No.

Cotz Flawless Complexion SPF 50 – This was my first introduction into tinted moisturizer (and since this is my original bottle, it was definitely time to toss it). I used this every morning before heading off to the gym so that I would have some SPF to cover me for my walk and to smooth out my skin for my public appearance (the kind of public appearance where you’re still crossing your fingers that you won’t run into anyone). This provides enough coverage where your skin doesn’t look so bare, has SPF and a little goes a long way so the tube will last you a while. They have since changed the packaging, but it’s the same formula.

Price: $21

Would I re-purchase? Maybe.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer – I did a Brand Spotlight on Soap and Glory when my blog first started and I picked this primer up then. I am not huge into pore filling primers but this one worked great for me and didn’t pill up with any of my foundations which is a problem I usually have with pore filling primers. Lately, I’ve been mixing this primer up with Peter Thomas Roth gold moisturizer for a glowy finish and I really liked the results I got from that combination. If you like pore filling primers and don’t want to spend a lot, this is one to check out.

Price:$14

Would I re-purchase? Probably not.

ColourPop Highlight in Lunch Money – This is the only super shock highlighter I’ve ever used and I think once I fell out of love with that formula, it was time to toss this highlighter. This is one that honestly would do better being applied with a beauty sponge or your fingers. Don’t even attempt to use this with a brush. The price is right though and if you’re into a blinding highlight that you can create with a sponge or your fingers, then try this out.

Price: $8

Would I re-purchase? No.

That’s all I have for you guys! Sometimes it’s okay to have only a few products, right? Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!
