November Favorites

It’s definitely hard to believe that tomorrow is already December 1st. Christmas decorations can be found everywhere at this point and everyone is in full-fledged holiday spirit. I personally love this time of year and love all the decorations, the beautiful lights everywhere, and the excitement that always comes with upcoming holidays. November seemed like an especially fast month with Thanksgiving providing some days off both work for me and I hope this was the case for most people. I’m expecting quite the list of favorites next month with all the Black Friday shopping I got done but this month with the Sephora VIB sale and other things among that, I got plenty to share as well so let’s get started.

1.ILY Mix plaid blanket scarves – I wrote about this in my 2-16 Holiday Gift Guide (if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, you can find it here) and am still raving about them now. These scarves are ultra-soft and are perfect for this time of year. I was spending most of my days in a cold office this month and being able to take a scarf and literally turn it into a blanket and make myself warm was amazing. I would highly recommend these to everyone as there are plenty of colors to choose from. I just recently ordered some beanies (with fur pom poms) from the website and am super excited to get those in and start wearing them when the temps drop even more. I do have a discount code with this company (an affiliate code) and “styleprn20” can get you 20% off. There is also always free shipping with no minimum which I love because there’s nothing I hate more than paying for shipping.img_7938dsc08436

2. NYX Matte Bronzer – I didn’t think I would find anything that I like more than the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer but I was wrong. This bronzer from NYX is literally perfection. The packaging that it comes in is super sleek which is hard to believe considering the price ($8) and the formula is great. There are 5 shades to choose from and plenty of places to pick this up (Ulta, Target, Wal-Mart). This has become my holy grail bronzer and I will definitely re-purchase when I am out.

3.Boscia Tsubaki Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask – I picked this up during the Sephora VIB sale and have been using it multiple times a week since and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my sleep. This is great for hydration and is perfect for the winter months coming up. You just put this on before bed and wake up and do your usual morning skincare routine and your skin will thank you. I am a big fan of Boscia products in general but this is definitely one of my favorites.

4.Alterna Anti-Aging Overnight Rescue – I also purchased this during the Sephora VIB sale as I’ve been eyeing it for a while but dropping $38 on a product that may not work did not seem like a great idea at the time. I am so glad I picked this up. If you have damaged hair/split ends, etc. you need this product. I put this on at night maybe 2-3 times a week and I wake up with what looks like post-haircut damage free hair. I absolutely love this stuff and am so impressed by it. I wish it came in a smaller bottle for people to try out but unfortunately with this one, you have to commit right away. Also, I’m inserting a picture of my entire Sephora haul here so if you have questions about any of the products below, let me know!

5.It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara – I received this as a sample from one of my subscription boxes (when you get three, you lose track of who sent you what) and have been using this as my daytime mascara all month. It does a great job separating your lashes and elongates as well. I will definitely be buying the full size as soon as I run out of my sample.

6.Nine West Virtuous Leather Boots – As someone that stands on their feet for 8-9 hours at a time at work, comfortable shoes are an absolute must. This becomes difficult during the winter as wearing flats or other shoes that I usually depend on for work is no longer feasible because it is just way too cold for that in Cincinnati. I was looking to get a new pair of flat boots as most of mine have a heel and stumbled upon these ones at 6pm. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now and my feet are definitely thankful. I can handle my long shifts in these shoes and based on the quality I can already tell these will last me a long time.

What were some of your guys’ favorites this month? Any make up/beauty recommendations that I should look into? I’m also always looking for book recommendations and apps as well!

As always, thank you for reading and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @styleprn .  Also, stay tuned for my outfit picks for holiday parties as that’s coming up next!
