Us beauty junkies know that with fall, comes the Sephora VIB sale which means it’s time to buy those higher-end items that you’ve been waiting to pick up because it’s one of the few times you can score them at a lower price. This year, Sephora changed the time of the sale (which is usually in November) and is rolling it out this week. VIB Rouge clients are eligible for 20% off starting this Friday (8/24) in store and online with the code YESROUGE. The first 6 days of the sale are for VIB Rouge only and then open up for VIB and Beauty Insider members with a smaller percentage off.
Today, I’ll be sharing my recommendations for what to pick up during this sale. These are not items that I’ll be picking up, simply ones I think are worth getting. I will also be sharing what I’m ordering later on. There’s a good mix of skincare, make up and some hair products in my list, so let’s dive right in…
Diorshow Maximizer Lash Primer – This is a holy grail item for me that I’ve replaced over and over again . I usually pick this up during the sale because this thing is pricey but totally worth it and I will continue buying this over and over again. I literally do not put on mascara without this primer. It gives your mascara a “boost” by multiplying whatever effects the mascara is supposed to provide. It’s also nourishing so using this over time, makes for healthier, longer lashes. I can’t recommend this enough.
Benefit Roller Lash Macara – I recently re-fell in love with this mascara and now I’m all about it. This mascara curls your lashes like no other, lengthens and volumizes and the effect truly lasts all day. You don’t even need an eyelash curler if you’re using this. If you’re not into commiting into a full size high end mascara right away, it also comes in a mini that you can try first.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner – This replaced my holy grail Kat Von D Tattoo Liner for several reasons. 1) It lasts way longer and doesn’t dry out as quickly 2) it’s a true matte black that won’t budge no matter what. So basically if you want a great black liquid liner, this is it.
Jade Roller – I am new to the Jade Rolling game and if you’re looking to get into it, this is a good time to snag one. I got one by the brand Herbivore and it’s been working out really well for me. I’ve noticed a brighter complexion and overall healthier looking skin. If you’re looking to find out more benefits of Jade Rolling, I am planning a dedicating an entire post just to that topic soon so stay tuned.
Bareminerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion – It’s very rare that you see (or at least I see) results from a serum right away but this one impressed me, big time. This serum leaves your skin looking so radiant and so healthy, that pretty much no matter what you put on top of it, you’ll end up with amazing looking results. I have been using this for several months now and can’t get enough.
Isle of Paradise Self Tanner – Hands down the best and most unique self tanner I’ve ever used. It is literally self tanning water. You just spray the water all over your body, rub it in with a tanning mit and you’re ready to go. It takes about 4-5 hours for the tan to develop so I just apply it right before bed. It does have a strong scent but if you’re sleeping, it obviously isn’t going to bug you. The tan from this is super natural and stays on for days. I got mine in Medium – Golden Glow.
Dr.Brandt Magnetight Age Defier Mask – This is hands down, my favorite mask as far as application process goes. You apply the mask, let it dry then you take it off with the provided magnet. It’s so cool to see it just come right off your skin. And for those who like to inspect the aftermath (i.e. if you like to inspect your pore strips after removing them), you’ll get a kick out of looking at the tissue once the mask is off. You’ll see little crystals formed along with everything the mask got out. It’s super cool.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – I’ve been using this for close to a year now and I love this stuff. In the winter, this is literally a lifesaver. Apply this before bed and you’ll wake up with soft, hydrated lips ready to take on any liquid lipstick or any lip formula you can think of.
Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil – This is one of my favorite hair oils and I’ve tried a lot of those. Like a lot. This one smells divine (as all Ouai hair products do) and does an amazing job hydrating your hair. I’ve actually never used it on my body but it’s also advertised as a body oil as well for those that like multi-tasking products.
Bare Minerals Liquid Lipstick – My favorite liquid lip formula ever. It’s not drying, the color selection is great (Swag is where it’s at) and since it’s not super drying, it’s very forgiving in terms of fixing if you screw it up the first time you apply.
That’s it for my recommendations! Lots of ground covered. Let me know what you’re planning on picking up and what you recommend for me to try out! I can’t wait to place my order bright and early on Friday 😊 and can’t wait to share with you guys what I ended up picking up!
As always, thanks for reading!

It doesn’t! I’ve never had it transfer to my sheets or my clothes and I usually don’t wait too long after applying to get into bed!
