Brand Spotlight : Farmacy

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Brand Spotlight on here but this is a series on the blog that has lead to many great discoveries. My holy grail Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser wouldn’t be a staple in my medicine cabinet if it wasn’t for my Glossier Brand Spotlight. My Make Up Revolution Iconic Pro palette wouldn’t have ever made it to my vanity if it wasn’t for the Make Up Revolution Brand Spotlight either. You get the point. I’ve made a lot of great discoveries hauling items from one brand.

This time, I went for a brand that I’ve tried out before and loved every single product which made me want to try more. The Honey Potion mask has been a mask favorite of mine for years now, so it was time to see what else the brand had to offer. The great thing about this brand was that they have a mini kit you can buy at Sephora to try several items without committing to the full size products. I got the kit and a few other things and now that I’ve essentially used them all up, I’m ready to talk about them.

Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm – Hands down, one of my favorite Farmacy products. This cleansing balm will take away any trace of your make up and will do so gently. No hard rubbing, no lost eyelashes, just a gentle application and all your make up will “melt” off as the name suggests. I don’t usually use this for taking off my make up at the end of the night but for the pesky make up that won’t budge as a last step or last tool if my regular cleansers didn’t get everything off. Usually this is just leftover mascara that didn’t want to come off. This comes in a soft balm-like form in a jar that you just scoop up and apply and after rubbing away the make up, wash off with water and voila – your face is squeaky clean.

Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask – This is the product that started the love affair with Farmacy. This mask does wonders to your skin post vacation or post travel when your skin is freaking out, when it needs a little extra hydration in the winter,  and pretty much in a lot of different cases. This mask warms up on your skin as you apply it and leaves your skin feeling incredible after you wash it off. I highly recommend checking this one out.

Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm – I’m not gonna lie, this didn’t do anything special for me and this is a pretty expensive lip balm. I’ve used $2 ones that have impressed me more. It’s made of beeswax and the packaging is super cute but I don’t think that’s worth throwing down $10 on a lipbalm.

Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm – This is a super intense night moisturizer that I think needs to be reserved for winter months. I think it was too much for the summer. It comes in a really thick salve like formula that gets applied over your night serum and holds all the moisture in. I do think I’ll really like this come winter but right now, it’s a bit too much.

Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer – Now, on the complete opposite spectrum of the firming night balm, this is a very lightweight moisturizer that I fell in love with. It feels so great on the skin, does a great job hydrating and has little mini exfoliating like beads that are in the moisturizer. I loved this for summer and would consider picking this up in full size.

Farmacy has come out with a few other products since I placed my order for this Brand Spotlight that I’m definitely looking forward to checking out. Let me know if you guys use any products from this brand or if you’ve tried their new brightening mask or serum.

As always, thanks for reading!
