Good morning! Coming at you from a Paris -> Annecy train today. My husband and I arrived in Paris on Saturday for the celebration of our first wedding anniversary. Our first three days in Paris are over, but we have another day and a half at the end of the trip.
I’m not going to talk about what we’ve been seeing in Paris today. I’ll save that for a Paris City Guide when we come back. Today, I’ll be solely focusing on showing you what I wore on our 3 days in the city of love.
Day 1
We ended up getting very lucky with the weather our entire time in Paris. While it was a bit chilly in the mornings, during the day it was as high as 80 degrees at times. So, I packed a lot of sundresses and a lot of cardigans.
The first day, I went with a mesh overlay Black bodycon dress from Express with a military jacket thrown over it. I finished the look off with some comfy leopard Keds and a black leather Coach crossbody. We walked over 14 miles that day so the comfy shoes were a must.
Day 2
This was supposed to be our museum day since the Louvre was on the list but knowing the size of the place and our plans after, comfy shoes again, were a must. I wore a yellow tie button down top from JCrew Factory Outlet, my all time favorite Sam Edelman jeans and these white bedazzled Kenneth Cole slip ons. Again, look finished off with the black Coach crossbody as all looks in France since it’s the only bag I brought.
Day 3
On our last full day in Paris, we got up early and got on the train to the Palace of Versailles. My favorite polka dot dress came along, as well as this Halogen cardigan I kept from my last Trunk Club and these black Crown Vintage flats. The hair was not responding well to dry shampoo at this point, so a silk headband/bandanna was also added on.
