A few months ago I decided to sign up for Nordstrom’s service called “Trunk Club”. For those not familiar with this, it is a service where a stylist picks 10-15 pieces for you and sends it to you in a “trunk” and you keep what you liked and send back the other pieces. That’s the quickest way of describing it and I will definitely go super in depth in a few weeks when I do a whole separate post on my Trunk Club experience. I just figured I should at least get 4-5 trunks before I fully make my mind up about the whole thing.

So anyway, this month, this gorgeous blue and white sundress was included in my trunk and guys, I am seriously in love. It is by a brand called Heartloom which is the first I’ve ever heard of the brand but definitely not the last time. The material of this dress is perfect for summer and I love that this can be dressed up with a pair of heels and dressed down with a flat pair of sandals. I have a trip coming up that this will be perfect for and I can’t wait to explore a new city in this gorgeous piece.

I showed you both ways to wear this and in the first look, paired it up with a pair of rose gold sandals and some dainty rose gold jewelry. The peplum-esque detailing on the waist is perfect too and definitely gives an extra oomph to this dress.

In the second look, I put on a bright pair of yellow block heels that have already made an appearance on here a few times and gave this dress a pop of color and dressed it up enough to make it worthy of a more casual yet still dressy kind of event ( bridal shower, birthday celebration, etc).
